Minutes

Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held at the Water Board offices located at 5815 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, New York.  The Niagara Falls Water Board typically holds a work session on the third Monday each month, and its regular business meeting on the fourth Monday of the month.  These meetings usually begin at 5:00 p.m., but please consult the Water Board’s public meeting schedule to verify.  Members of the public are welcome to attend work sessions, but should be aware that no formal action is taken at work sessions and there is no public comment period.  At work sessions, the Board of Directors receives staff reports, listens to presentations, and discusses proposed resolutions and other initiatives.  Public comment is permitted at regular business meetings, with a limit of three minutes per speaker and a total public comment period not to exceed one hour.  Public speakers must sign in with the Chairperson prior to the meeting’s start time.  The Water Board takes formal action, including voting on resolutions, during its business meetings.

Please note that for the convenience of the public, minutes and other information for Niagara Falls Public Water Authority meetings are posted on the Niagara Falls Water Board’s website at the NFPWA page.  The Water Authority is a legally distinct entity from the Water Board, but does not maintain its own staff or website at this time.
